So here it is, and i promise there will be a new blog every week from now until forever! (It’s a goal. i don’t have to actually do it, i never got my license either)
So basically the theme of this blog is working simple pieces into your new spring wardrobe that all have a military feel them. Spring is an awful time for fashion, not in the fashion world but rather on the streets. On my way to and from the city I see girls confused by the sudden sunlight, wearing cutoffs and oversized cardigans, awkwardly carrying their scarves…dresses and sneakers. This is not okay.
Working its way into fashion over the past year or so has been the perfect bomber jacket, the hipsters answer to the trench coat. These bomber jackets are unisex ,blend well with any outfit and are great for the changing seasons. They are windproof and waterproof for when that lovely torrential rain decides to stir shit up, aren’t too heavy and so therefore won’t have you sweating whilst running to catch a train. Wear with anything, but not crocs okay?
My new favourite item of clothing for girls and boys is the oversized mens business shirt. For girls wear over your summer dresses to create warmth for spring nights out and to also perhaps interject colour over your LBD.
Men please wear with skinny jeans, it will make your legs look thinner-but if you are more daring for the military look I have paired the grey shirt with my suede riding pants and police boots.
